Zurich's buildings insurance goes further than you may expect, giving you greater protection and peace of mind. Our cover protects you against:
- Damage caused by fire, explosion, lightning and earthquake.
- Damage caused by falling trees (from your own and neighbouring properties).
- Storm and flood damage (excluding gates, fences or railings).
- Impact from vehicles and animals. Even aircraft.
- Malicious damage and theft whilst you are at home and on holiday for up to 30 days.
- Up to £2 million cover for liabilities you may incur as owner.
- Subsidence and ground heave (that's when land rises) of the site that your buildings stand on, or landslip.
- Water damage caused by burst pipes and tank leaks.
- 24-hour emergency call out service.
Extra Cover

Zurich's contents insurance not only covers all your household contents, it also goes further than you may expect.
Cover includes:

- Replacement locks in case of loss of keys.
- Automatic increase of sum insured by £5,000 during December and January and also one month before and after the wedding day of you or a member of you're family living in your household.
