What is the UKinsurancenet Affiliate Programme?
If you have a website, the UKinsurancenet Affiliate Programme is a way for you to earn commission and add value to your site through providing additional value added " quote and buy " services for your site visitors.

Is the Programme free to join?
Yes! There are no sign up fees to become a UKinsurancenet Affiliate.

How often will I get paid?
Settlement of accounts will take place at the end of each Calendar Month. In the second week of each month UKinsurancenet will account to the 'Affiliate' for all commissions earned by the 'Affiliate'

How are the commission payments made?
The commission payments are made by Direct Bank Transfer, Bacs.

Do I need to generate a minimum amount of commission each month?
You need to generate a minimum commission of £100 before a payment is made. If the minimum of £100 is not achieved, the amount will be rolled over to the following month until the commission reaches £100.

What Tracking Information will I receive?
Our affiliate management software accurately tracks each sale and credits your account accordingly. You will receive a detailed statement each month advising you of each individual policy taken out, the gross premium and commission earned.

Do UKinsurancenet use cookies?
No. The URL we would supply you with contains a unique tag, which enables UKinsurancenet to track quotes and sales regardless of whether a sale is completed on the Internet, or through our call centre.

Do I need to be FSA (Financial Services Authority) regulated to become a UKinsurancenet Affiliate?
No. All we ask of our Affiliates is to introduce clients to us. We do not want our affiliates to offer any insurance advice about our products.

How do I incorporate UKinsurancenet links into my site?
Once you have been accepted into the UKinsurancenet Affiliate Programme we will provide you with the appropriate linking codes, integration guides and graphics to get you started.

How are referrals from my site tracked?
After we have accepted your application we will provide you with special "tagged" link formats to be used in all links between your site and our site. The links include a unique ID, which enables us to keep track of all referrals from your site and thereby report and calculate commissions owed to you.

May I use the UKinsurancenet logo on my site?
We will provide you with the appropriate logo and graphics to clearly identify and promote your association with the UKinsurancenet Affiliate Programme. You may not alter or modify any logos or graphics without obtaining prior written permission from UKinsurancenet. You must also secure permission before using any third party's copyrighted materials. If you are unsure about your rights to use or modify the materials for your web site, please contact us using the contact form.

Does UKinsurancenet offer reciprocal linking?
Whilst we do not offer reciprocal linking to the UKinsurancenet website we do have a number of micro sites from which we can offer links. Reciprocal linking is at UKinsurancenet's discretion and requests must be made through your Account Executive.

How do I become an Affiliate?
To become a UK Insurance NET affiliate please complete the UK Insurance NET affiliate application form.
We will then review your website, if the website is acceptable we will send you a unique link and affiliate agreement.

Is my website eligible to become an affiliate?
Most websites, large or small, qualify for our affiliate programme although there are a few types of site we will not accept:

  • Websites that show or promote sexually explicit material.
  • Websites that show or promote violence.
  • Websites that discriminate or promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Websites that show, promote or commit illegal activities.
  • Websites that encourage the violation of, or violate, intellectual property rights.
